One-Car Wreck

Injures Driver, TVs

One car was involved in a crash Saturday night at Ginger Hill on Route 211 a mile west of Washington. Randolph Starks of Woodville sustained lacerations of both hands and knee. He was the operator of a 68 Plymouth that ran off the left of the highway, struck a bank and turned over in the road, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. The vehicle was considered a total loss with damage estimated at around ^2,000. Rappahannock Rescue Squad responded to the crash scene but the injured had already Seen taken away by car.

Washington Auxiliary Meets January 6th

Tlie Women’s Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will meet Monday, January 6 at the Fire House at 7 p.m. At this time officers will be elected for the coming year. Ail members and interested persons are urged to attend.
