David J. Racer
David Jackson Racer, 57, of Washington died December 18, 1968 at the University of Virginia Hospital after several weeks illness. He was a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late Richard and Lucy Virginia Racer. His wife, who pre-deceased him a year ago, was Emily Mae Jenkins.
Surviving is one daughter, Miss Louise Racer of Culpeper; six step-children, Mrs. Luther Fincham of Chesapeake, Mrs. Jack Fincham of Amissville, Mrs. Douglas Blevein of Culpeper, Cornelious and Randolph Finchaig of Washington and Lee Fincham of Sperryville; four brothers, Carroll Racer of Washington, Luther B. Racer, Winchester, Clarence Racer, Front Royald and Lyle Racer, Luray; three sisters, Mrs. Willie Payne, Washington, Va., Mrs. Anna Fincham, Amissville and Mrs. Robert Jacobs, Viewtown.
A funeral service was conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. from Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. James Adkins officiating. Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery.

AMARILLO, Tex.-Airman Ronald S. Dodson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene M. Dodson of Viewtown, Va., has completed basic training at Amarillo AFB, Tex. He has been assigned to Lowry AFB, Colo., for training in the supply field.
Airman Dodson is a 1969 graduate of* Rappahannock County High School, Washington, Va.
