The 1968 Christmas Seal becomes a stamp collector** Item on December 25th, but its spirit of helping others less fortunate C still needs to continue because' the TB Seal Campaign is not over and the goal has not been reached. The program supports research supplies health education aids in schools, offers latest techniques and treatment in the medical Held, assists in seeking new cases of TB and other respiratory diseases for treatment, encourages education and action to combat air pollution and aids patients wherever possible. President Earle W. Hoffman, expressed appreciation on behalf of the Board and County Seal Chairman, of the TB and Health Association of Northern Virginia for the encouragement and interest so far received.
He said that many letters had come with money from persons wishing they could give more, or grateful for services being given. The goal as set covers not only the on going programs, but an intensified effort in schools relating to smoking hazards.
