found the baby in a manger and knelt down and worshipped Him. They were truly wise men, apparently not surprised at His humble birth. What amazes me is that no records were kept of the actual date of the Christ Child’s birth. Had there been we could have had a Christ’s Day with all it would mean to the true Christian. As it is, we have a borrowed pagan holiday (Saturn’s Day) in which to celebrate HIS DAY. A compromise with paganism? Are we still compromising? Whatever the cause of the iaxity of the recorders, we do have a day set apart as Christ’s Birthday, we do let the spirit of love dominate us for a little while. Couldn’t we stretch that love over a longer period, take it to church with us all year through. The church is His house, let s attend it more in the year that we have before us.
