Fishing Rodeo
Thirty-eight youths attended the 4-H fishing rodeo at the pond of Col. Earl E. Holmes’ last Thursday (June 18th). The event started with instructions on fishing techniques and safety by Game Warden. Irvin Kenyon. Dave Pbe of the Soil Conservation Service pointed out the advantages and reasons for having farm ponds to the youngsters.
Prizes were donated by Col. Holmes and the local Soil and Water Conservation District. Seniors receiving prizes were:
