Mr*. Sarah F. Allen
A funeral service for Mrs. Sarah Frances Allen, 88, of Boston, Va. was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Hawkins conducted the service.
Mrs. Allen died June 18, 1970 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Albert and Mollie Dodson Woodard. She was a member of Novum Baptist Church.
From her first marriage to the late Charles R. Hawkins, she is survived by six sons, Maury C. Hawkins and Andrew W, Hawkins, both of Culpeper, Rufus A. Hawkins of Staunton, James Burman Hawkins of Brightwood, Harry Kemper Hawkins of Baltimore, Md., and George C. Hawkins of Sperryville; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Her second husband was the late Russell Hawkins and her third husband was the late Edward Allen.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Otis Bennett of Culpeper and Mrs. Janie Printz of Glasford, 111.
