Bridal Shower
Mrs. Phyliss Morris, Mrs. LaMerle Williams and Mrs. Marie Williams of Chester Gap were hostesses Saturday night for a bridal shower at the Baptist Church in honor of Miss Gail Jones of Oak Park, whose marriage to Roy Mathena, Jr. of Tulsa, Okla. will take place June 27 at the Oak Park Church at 4 o’clock.
Others attending were Nora Sealock, Lillian Fox, Doris Mathena, Mary Mathena, Doris Williams, Pamela Williams, Wanda Williams, Dorothy Rector, Ray Rector and Bessie Parks. Those sending gifts but unable to attend were Ella Frazier, Mattie Frazier, Lucy Williams, Maratha Gillespie, Marie Sealock and Becky Burke.
