A street carnival, a fair, an art exhibit, a real old time community get-together, and more, will all be rolled into one big Fourth of July celebration in Rappahannock County centering around the Rappahannock Public Library which is sponsoring the event. Festivities held on Sunday, July 4, will begin with a number of lawn games getting under way at 1 p.m. Also available at that time will be a lunch outdoors prepared by local cooks. In the library itself a number of exhibits of local art, craft, an*d hobbies will be displayed at 2:30 p.m. a musical pageant will begin featuring musical groups from Rappahannock County Elementary School and a number of guitarists from the county High School. “This will be an opportunity for people of all ages and all types to get together in a neighborly way in their local community,” said Mary Jamieson, Chairman of the library’s board of trustees in announcing the event.
