trouble until five o’clock in the morning what can be expected? What was really funny was the little rascal tried to sleep on the way back!
These are just a few of the good times we had on our trip to Philadelphia. Fun cannot always be put into words, although they can only be spoken in the hearts of those who enjoyed it.
Baccalaureate services are to be held Sunday at RCHS and Graduation will be held Wednesday. This sounds a little funny to say but parents and friends, try to come. No one really can see how important it is that you come! One happy memory is worth a thousand words!!!

In Referendum
A producer referendum on the wool and lamb marketdevelopment program will be held June 7 through 18 by mail.
“Any wool producer in Rappahannock County who has owned sheep 6 months of age or older for at least 30 consecutive days during 1970 may cast a ballot in the referendum,” said H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation (ASC) Committee.
The mail referendum will be conducted by ASCS county offices. Ballots may be mailed in or , producers may cast their vote by , coming into their ASCS county , office. ,
The outcome of the referendum | will determine whether or not, deductions from wool payments to producers will be continued. The deductions, as authorized in the National Wool Act, would be up to V/z cents a pound on wool and 7M* cents a hundredweight on unshorn lambs, the rates for the past 5 years. These deductions are used to enlarge the market for wool and lambs through advertising, merchandising and education. The promotion program is carried out under an agreement made between the Secretary of Agriculture and the American Sheep Producers Council (ASPC). Producers have voted 4 similar, agreements into effect since 1955. For the agreement to be extended through 1973, the June referendum must show approval nationally by at least two-thirds of the producers voting, or by producers having at least two-thirds of the
