Gar wrecked
William Lee Settle of Castleton escaped injury Friday morning when his car skidded on an icy bridge at Estes, crashed into the guard rail and went down an embankment.
According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Settle was operating a ‘69 Plymouth Barracuda on Route 729 when he ran up on the icy bridge, skidded onto the left guard rail and damaged the underside of the vehicle.
Damage to the auto was estimated at $400 and about a hundred feet of rail was damaged. □
