The Panthers played the part of St. George Tuesday night when they slew the William Monroe Dragons 57-55 on the Rappahannock court. They displayed fine team effort, butHarry Jordan, Ronnie Myers, Lawrence Turner and Bobby Smoot all glittered for Rappahannock during the game.
Harry Jordan pulled down 21 of Rappahannock’s 45 rebounds. This was more than the entire William Monroe team which had only 20. Jordan also put in 11 points. Lawrence Turner led the Rappahannock shooters with 14 points earned the hard way, by seven field goals.
