Mrs. Marianne McPherson of Alexandria was the winner of the barn contest last ^ week by identifying the structure on the farm of S.W. Varner of Woodville located on Route 621. Marianne, nee Jenkins, was reared on a neighboring farm. Her name was drawn from a total of eleven correct replies which included Luther Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Misty Hitt, Clifton Clark, Carol Campbell, Richie Burke, Mrs. Harry Deal, Mrs. Milton Sisk, Linda Smith, Newbill Miller and Shelia F. Jenkins. There was one incorrect answer submitted. Well, here’s another — keep trying!
