Bloodmobile

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile unit will visit Rappahannock County next Wednesday, April 12. It will be located at the Episcopal parish hall in Washington from 1 until 7 p.m., convenient hours for everyone.
If every member of each of the fire companies in the county who have no infirmities, every member of civic groups as Ruritans, Lions, Jaycees, Junior Women, Citizens League, &c. who are able — along with homemakers, mechanics, electricians, and all of the various salesmen and professional people in the county — will present themselves as donors, an excellent turnout can be expected.
In recent Bloodmobile visits the established quota has been seldom met and donations must improve to insure the participation of Rappahannock County in receiving from the Blood Bank.
Anyone who does not have transportation to the bloodmobile should call Mrs. Stephen Ellis, Amissville at 937-4838; or Mrs. Richard McNear, Washington at 987-8486, and it will be provided.
Donors may be from age 18 to 67 and those under 21 do not need written permission from a parent. □
