responded to a wreck at Woodville, but services were not needed. March 30 William Aylor was transported from Charlottesville to his home at Sperryville. April 3, Irene Alther was taken from home to Warren Memorial Hospital and on April 4, William Aylor was taken back to Charlottesville.
Amissville Fire Company responded to a chimsenberger home in Jeffersonton on March 22. The unit was called the 28th to a brush fire at the A. C. Dodson property.
April 1 the Amissville unit answered a chimney fire at the home of Mamie Whorton and the same day assisted Flint Hill at a house fire on the Gardner property.
Amissville Rescue Squad took Charlie Smith from Hackley’s Store to Fauquier Hospital on March 29.
