MEMBERS OF THE 1972 GRADUATING class of Rappahannock County High School who were cited for academic excellence are Bill Kilby and Deborah Barron, valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, and Rick Gore and Dabney Eastham equally qualified for third place.

Bill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Kilby of Sperryville. He has been a member of the National Honor Society, president of the S.C.A. and a member of the varsity basketball team.

Deborah is from Viewtown, and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard R. Barron. She is president of the National Honor Society and is a member of the annual staff.

Dabney Eastham lives at Huntly with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dabney M. Eastham. He has been an S.C.A. representative for two years, is a member of the annual staff and a member of the National Honor Society.

Rick Gore, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore of Castleton, is a member of the National Honor Society and of the annual staff.

GRADUATION FOR THE 47 STUDENTS is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7 at the high school beginning at 8 p.m. School principal, Dennis Wingfield, will address the group and diplomas will be presented to Mr. Wingfield and assistant principal George Patterson.

The salutatorian, Deborah Barron, will welcome those attending following the invocation by Judy Alther. Bill Kilby will make the valedictorian address and the benediction will be given by Ella Mae Harper.

Baccalaureate services will be held at the school on Sunday, June 4 at 8 p.m. □
