Health Department
groupings to change
AFTER THE COMING fiscal year, the present joint Loudoun- Fauquier Health Department will be reorganized, Dr. Winifred Oyen told Fauquier’s Supervisors last Thursday.
She said that under new state rules, which says health departments shall follow regional planning groupings, Loudoun will have a health department of its own, and Fauquier will be grouped with Rappahannock.
Dr. Oyen says she assumes she will go with the Loudoun Department, since her residence is at Purcellville.
Rappahannock is presently grouped with Planning Region 9, which includes Culpeper, Orange, Green and Madison Counties. Dr. Rex LeGarde is health officer. □
