THE ANIMALS exported from the U.S. were sold prior to shipping but were judged in the show. Updike was one of the show judges along with a gentleman from Holland and two from Brazil. From the states 17 top quality hogs were exhibited coming from Virginia, North Carolina and Missouri, along with 11 head of beef. Several sheep producers attended the show but did not take exhibits.
There is a ready market for livestock in South America, primarily swine and beef. A poultry market is already well established there. Orders have already been received from several countries there and a seminar is scheduled for
