Hie Rappahannock Unit of die American Cancer Society met Tuesday night with Mrs. Virginia Schneider, area representative, in charge. The final total of the spring fund crusade was announced as $1,949.50 and a word of appreciation for the solid leadership of crusade chairman Kermit Weakley was voiced by all present. Among those attending die meeting were Mrs. Frances Thornton, Rev. William Hargett, Mrs. Kermit Weakley, Mr. Weakley, Andrew Kozik, who has accepted the chairmanship of the 1973 crusade, Mrs. Schneider and Mrs. Paul Miller.
