LABOR DAY produced only a slight rear end collision which took place about 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Routes 522 and 211 at Sperryville.

Michael Francis Dolan of Arnold, Mo. operating a 63 Pontiac stopped in a line of traffic waiting for a vehicle in front to make a left turn. He was struck from behind by a 71 Plymouth operated by William Joseph McMahon of Fort Monroe.

McMahon was charged with following too closely by Trooper W.A. Buntin who estimated damage at $600 to McMahon and at $300 to Dolan’s.
