JAMES J. KILPATRICK, a resident of Rappahannock and well-known commentator and columnist, spoke to an overflow crowd Monday night at the library in Washington, Va. on the subject of the past elections.
He 'was introduced by Mrs. Mary Jamieson, who stated that the library “has never, and as far as your present board is concerned never will, become a platform for any political party, any political trends or for advantages of groups or individuals — whether Tory or Whig, Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal, Communist, Socialist or Single Taxer.”
