These apples, one a twin and one a triplett, were found by Tom Metzinger, Sperryville and Curtis Crawford of Woodville while picking apples for C. E. Johnson Jr. The fruit had one stem but two and three cores and blossom ends. The young men were among Boy Scouts from Sperryville Troop #65 who realized $90 for the Troop by picking apples.
