Let me begin by saying that I enjoy very much the articles in your paper which relay to citizens of Rappahannock just what does go on at the local Board of Supervisors meetings.
However, I have one question — Is there nothing held as “confidential, not for general knowledge”? The request for payment of hospital bills as presented by the Superintendent of Welfare for some • of our less fortunate citizens certainly isn’t my idea of good news coverage.
Although the meetings are open to the public it seems to me that there are items on the agenda that are not for public dissemination. Certainly not in the detail that was published in your November 9, 1972 issue of the Rappahannock News.
