this was no exception. We heard the choir practicing before hand and they sounded great.
The French II class presented a play for the French I, III and IV classes and, of course, all dialogue and song was in French. Among the characters in the Christmas play were Darlene Jett as the donkey; Mary Moore Kilby was the mother sheep and Martin Perdue was a little lamb; Moose Donaldson was the dog; while John Summers was the holiday turkey and I was the cow. The play was narrated by Angela Dennis and all was very well executed. Other students were in the chorus, singing in French.
OH WOE is us — losers by one point in Tuesday’s varsity basketball game. Boy, that really hurts, We played William Monroe and the half time score was 4-6 in our favor. The final score was 15-16 in their favor. Oh me! Oh my!. 9fh
Sounds like an interesting game. It was. Come on out to the next one which will be after Christmas. It’s the 2nd of January with Strasburg at home.
Last Friday the Panther teams played Luray. Our boys did a fine job but were defeated.
