A funeral service conducted by the Rev. James Adkins will be held today, Thursday, at the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Atkins was an ememployee of Rappahannock Manufacturing Plant at Flint Hill and a member of the Thornton Gap Church.

Mrs. Bertie Katherine Jenkins, 80, of Front Royal died December 12, 1972 in Staunton. She was the widow of Luther Jenkins.
Funeral services were held December 15 from the Maddox Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Joe Martin. Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery at Huntly.
She was born in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Gabriel Booten Jenkins and Sarah C. Fincham Jenkins.
Surviving are one son, James G. Jenkins of Ber..Jryville; four ' daughters, * Mrs. Rena Virginia Williams, Mrs. Margaret J. Henry and Mrs. Ann Lockhart, all of Front Royal, and Frances Campbell of Strasburg; one sister Mrs. Jerry Jenkins of Strasburg; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. □
