THE 25TH RUNNING of the Rappahannock Point-to-Point Races on March 3 will have the “new brush look.” With the introduction-of the Durant Hill Hurdle, Rappahannock’s nine-event race card now boasts two races over brush; one an open race and one for ownerriders.
Last year, the brush race — with minimum weight set at 145 pounds, open to professional and amateurs alike had so many entries it had to be run in two sections.
