The Jaycees’ Saturday night basketball series is doing well. The second game which was with Orange made over $200 toward the outdoor courts for the high school.
The preliminary game Saturday between the local high school girls and the Woman’s Club was a trifle lopsided. The final score was 36-3 in favor of the younger'ladies. A total of 25 local girls and women saw action to the delight of the assembled friends and relatives.
