THERE ARE A NUMBER of programs and events scheduled for February and March that should be of interest to you.
Beef cattle producers, market operators and others interested in the beef industry of the Old Dominion will gather at the Sheraton Fredericksburg Inn at Fredericksburg February 8-10 for their annual convention.
Included amongst the nationally prominent industry personalities speaking at the event will be U. S. Congressman and noted cattleman from Missouri, Jerry Litton; Dr. Frank Baker, Head of the Animal Science Department of the University of Nebraska; and Ernest C. Charron, Chase Manahattan Bank.
Two forums will include representatives from all the state-wide organizations concerned with cattle production and marketing. This should provide some frank discussion of the beef industry — present and future.
