Traffic incidents have been minor with three reported in Rappahannock the past week.
Two vehicles met on a narrow road and sideswiped January 25 but no charges, resulted. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, those involved were Sally Ashton Williams of Richmond in a 1970 Chevrolet and a 65 Plymouth operated by Everette Allen Powell Jr. of Culpeper.
The collision occurred -on Route 707 a mile and a half west of Slate Mills. Damage was estimated at 4200 to Powell’s car and at $300 to the other, r A motorist struck and killed a deer on Route 522 Friday north of Flint Hill.
