Several meetings were held this week involving different clubs, and classes. Monday the Annual Staff met and I assume they are on their way to completing the yearbook. Patron ads are now on sale and available for $2.00 or your donation. These will help to complete the financing of the annual and give you a place to say what you want, almost.

The Junior Prom committee met Tuesday to finalize plans for a band and for decorations. Only two Seniors were spotted lurking near and silence became the golden key.

The Senior class held a meeting Friday but a report was not available for today.

A review of the past week’s basketball games shows things are looking up. Friday the Panthers met Elkton and grabbed a 60-55 victory. The JV’s bowed in defeat both Friday and on Tuesday at Central. The Varsity hung in there, but their fate was the same with Central as the juniors.

Saturday the Eighth Grade team played Page County and came home with a victory in their pockets. The score was 38-27 and high scorer was Aubrey Russell with 12points. Darnell Carter had 11 points and Keith Roberts added 10. The whole team did a great
