Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Strough of Harrisonburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Frances Llewellyn, of Warrenton, to Joseph Ronald Allison, son of Mr. Lewis J. Allison and the late Mrs. Allison of The Plains.
Miss Strough attended Ferrum Junior College and Madison College. She is presently Extension Agent, Home Economics, Rappahannock County.
Mr. Allison attended Ferrum Junior College and George Mason University. He is in business in The Plains, Va.
A fall wedding is planned. □
YOUTH RALLY
All young people of the county will be welcome at a “Get All Excited” Youth Rally, Friday, August 24 at the Sperryville Carnival Grounds. Starting at 3p.m. there will be softball, badminton, volleyball, etc. Food will be served at 5 and a rally held at 6 o’clock, with special singing and a Karate Team exhibition. Rally speaker will be Vernon Brewer of Lynchburg Baptist College. □
