THE Rappahannock County School Board ha# reviewed and adopted a general conduct code and a dress policy for the upper elementary and high school grades effective for the 1973-74 session.

The guidelines for the policy had been prepared with the assistance of teachers, pupils and administrators and with legal advice.

The primary objective, as stated in the policy, is the concern for health and safety and the avoidance of distractions which may interfere with the orderly operation of the schools and the learning process.

General Conduct Policy:

1. Each student is. expected to act in a manner which will reflect credit on himself, on his parents,' and on his school.
