In its investigation of the 500 KV transmission line proposed to extend from Virginia Electric and Power Company’s generating facilities in Louisa County to Morrisville in Fauquier County, the Commission Staff will investigate for alternate routes in the counties of Louisa, Spotsylvania, Orange, Culpeper, Stafford, and Fauquier. In its investigation of the 500 KV transmission line proposed to extend from Morrisville in Fauquier County to the Virginia - West Virginia line, the Commission Staff will investigate for alternate routes in the counties of Frederick, Clarke, Loudoun, Shenandoah, Warren, Fauquier, Prince William, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Page, and Rockingham. In the investigation of a route for the MorrisvilleWest Virginia transmission line the Commission Staff will investigate the reasonableness of locating the proposed line parallel to an existing 500 KV transmission line which passes east to west through the counties of Loudoun, Clarke, and Frederick and parallel to an existing 500 KV transmission line which extends north from Bristers Junction in Fauquier County and passes northwardly through the counties of Prince William and Loudoun.

The Commission Staff will file the results of its investigation of the routes proposed by the Companies, and of any alternates which it may propose, on or before October 1, 1973. Anyone wishing to review the applicants’ proposals and the results of the study of the Commission Staff may do so by visiting any business office of the Virginia Electric and Power Company or Potomac Edison Company of Virginia where bills may be paid with the counties named above as being under investigation, or may visit the office of the State Corporation Commission. The proposals of the Electric Companies are presently so filed. The proposals of the Commission Staff will be so fi|ed on or before October I, 1973.'
