1. Modesty and the avoidance of distracting influences serves as the basis for good dress and grooming habits. Prohibited are the nude look, seethrough or Peek - a - boo modes, revealing fashions, cut or torn acticles of clothing, undergarments worn as outerwear, and^ styles which exaggerate/ emphasize or call attention to anatomical details.
2. Shorts may not be worn in school during the normal school day throughout the regularly calendered school year. - Girls may, however, wear culottes which simulate skirts.
3. Slacks may be worn so long as they conform to other provisions herein
pertaining to safety, provocative effects and distractive influence.
4. Shoes or sandals must be worn for health and safety reasons.
5. In the interest of safety and/or health, the school may require specific dress or grooming for certain activities (such as shop, home economics, physical education, driver training, science, etc. ) in which* some particular danger may exist.
