The workshop will discuss the Water Quality Management Plan which the consultant firm Hayes, Seay, Mattern and Mattern prepared for the Planning District.
All Planning Districts in Virginia have been requested by the State Water Control Board to develop regional sewer plans. Sewer and water plans listed in the Water Quality Plan will receive priority rating for state and federal funding.
The plan cost $50 thousand to prepare; the SWCB paid for it. Public hearings have been scheduled for January 9, one at 2 p.m. at the Warren Green Building in Warrenton and another at 7 p.m. at the Orange County Courthouse.
