Lawrence Luther Printz, 74, of Winston died March 29, 1975 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employe of the Virginia Department of Highways. He was a native of Luray, the son of the late Thomas J. and Ada Belle Nichols Printz.

Survivors include his wife, the former Gertrude Virginia Woodard; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Mae Pullen of Rixeyville, Mrs. Lillian Virginia Frazier of Washington, Va. and Mrs. Ruth Garnett of Free Union; two brothers, Cletus Printz of Amissville and William Printz of Calverton; two sisters, Mrs. James Boley and Mrs. Wiley Hamm, both of Front Royal; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held Monday at Alum Spring Baptist Church near Rixeyville conducted by the Rev. Robert Ellis. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
