Dedication service
A dedication service was held Palm Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington at which time the new pulpit, free standing altar, carpet, kneeling pads and other alterations were dedicated.
The pulpit was dedicated to the memory of Charles Baker Palmer, Jr., a former vestryman. Among those attending the service included Mrs. Charles B. Palmer, Jr. and Ms. Catherine Hudson of Lawrenceville; Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Valdrighi and son Nick of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. David Palmer, %'Miss Amy Palmer and Joseph Bowman of Blacksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Palmer of Ashland.
Mrs. Fred Schafer and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. entertained the out of town guests with luncheon at the parish hall following the service. □
