The Rappahannock News has been very kind in publicizing the efforts being made by local citizens to establish a recreation center in this county. The organization’s title is the Rappahannock Recreation Association and it is intended to be a community center for all ages eventually.
At the present time there is a group of adults led by Granville Eastham that is concerning itself with the grounds and building program. There is also a group of young people that meet regularly and who are the first members of the R.R.A. This group is meeting on Wednesday nights through, the kindness of Mrs. Quaintance and the school board.
