Mrs. Sarah Latham was honored with a house warming at her home in Amissville Saturday evening when 30-plus members of her family joined her for dinner.

Guests included her mother, Mrs. C.C. Cockerill of Herndon; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cockerill, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Cockerill and son James Davis, all of Herndon; her brothers-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Peck and daughter Ann, Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and daughters Beverly Powell and Sharon Presgrave, all of Herndon, Mr. and Mrs. John Peck of Spotsylvania.

Mrs. Latham’s daughters and families were present: Mr. and Mrs. David Streagle, Marc and Shannon of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. David K. Hoadley and Sarah Kearns of Falls Church, Sally Mann of McLean and Susan Latham of Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg.

Others present were Mrs. G.W. Smith Jr. of Flint Hill, Miss'Louise Anderson of Culpeper, Donnie Waddell of Herndon, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne of Amissville, Vincent Nicholson of McLean.
