Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown was a luncheon guest last Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner.

Dinner guests during the holiday of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and family were Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce of Front Royal and Mrs. Nina B. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer attended services at the Church of the Messiah in Highland springs and a retirement luncheon for the Rev. Charles Gleanzer recently. They were guests for several days last week of Mrs. Charles B. Palmer, Jr. in Lawrenceville.

Bobbette Swindler returned with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler, Jr., Barbara and Mike to Hanover, Pa. for a few days. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler joined them New Year’s Eve and also visited Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Brown, returning home the next day accompanied by Bobbette.
