Sperryville Rescue Squad carried S.W. Varner from his home in Woodville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital Christmas Day. December 29 Chuck Gatewood was taken from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial and December 31 the unit was called to Edward Brown’s home in Woodville but services were not used. Washington Rescue Squad carried Gilbert Cameron from his home to Warren Memorial New Years Day and on January 3 transported L.J. Ketchem from R. A. Baines home on Rt. 729 to Warren Memorial. The Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Davey'Kindell from Warren Memorial Hospital to the hospital 'in Charlottesville on January 3. Amissville Rescue Squad took Elizabeth Clowinger from Route 730 to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, January 3. On the 6th, David Mills was taken from the home of Charlie Mills to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Amissville Fire Department responded to a house fire December 23 at the Davis home in Jeffersonton and the following day answered an alarm to a fire at Morgan’s Service Station east of Amissville. Christmas Day this unit was called to a house fire at th# Harold Pettie property where the house was completely destroyed and January 1, this company went to a house fire at the home of Floyd Utz at Castleton.D
