The thought has occured to me that it might interest a few of your readers to remind them how the times have changed over the years from 1913 when the Old Washington (Va.) High School had seven graduates.

In the light of present educational differentation and departmental regimentation, a rehearsal of didatic techniques employed in those bygone years would point up to many the changes in instructional methods.

My father, B.B. Mitchell, was the Principal and sole teacher of the following subjects to the Juniors and Seniors in the same classroom. Sorrfehow he taught us the following subjects:
