HAPPY New Year everybody! The new year always brings with it thoughts of fresh starts and new beginnings and so it is for R.C.H.S. students returning from Christmas vacation to begin their second semester. The nearness of up coming exams dispelled any hopes by students of easing back into the gririthagain. Exams will begin this coming Wednesday and will continue through Friday. But don’t lose faith R.C.H.S. students—don’t forget that there’ll be no school the Monday following exams because of a teacher’s work day. A new years present—and just *at the right time!
Our J. V. and Varsity Basketball Panthers played one game each over the holidays with Clark County High. Though neither team managed a victory this time they’ve still got a large portion of their season ahead of them, so keep your eyes open for some vicotries in the near future. Our 8th grade team played an exciting game Tuesday after school with Page County’s team. It was a close game that went into overtime, the kind that keeps you op the edge of your seat. The final score was Page 30 RCHS 28. Though our Panthers weren’t victorious in terms of the final score, I
