Snodgrass will conduct a “Thinking Horse” clinic at her LightHeart Farm in Marshall Aug. 16 and 17. The clinic will include discussion and demonstration of associative learning, habituation, operant conditioning, conditioned response and whole brain learning. Participants will see how these learning methods are used in handling and training horses.
The clinic will also focus on understanding and reading horses' behavior and body language and how behavior is influenced by different training fnethods.
The clinic will also include use of the “Training Wheel” and results of brain wave studies in horses.
