Contractor Qualifications: The prime Contractor for this project shall represent experience in at least five (5) municipal wastewater treatment plants of similar design to the satisfaction of the Engineer to be considered qualified to construct this project. The Contractor shall submit, with the bid, a list of similar installations with references, to be considered a qualified bidder. Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code Of Virginia (1950) as amended. Bidders must comply with the President s Executive Order No. 11246, prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex. or national ohgin, and Executive Orders Nos. 12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms. Certification that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on tne basis of race, color, creed, or national origin; and Statement that bidders must comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
