There will be a series of public meetings around the state to discuss the results of a recently released “Hunting with Hounds" study by the Virginia Department of Game and Insland Fisheries. O.janova Hunt master Joyce Fendley said she is encouraging every area foxhunter, and riders that eiyoy the extensive outdoor riding trails maintained by foxhunters, to attend at least one of the meetings.
The Aug 26 meeting is in Wytheville, with another Aug. 27 in Harrisonburg An Aug. 26 meeting is in Bowling Green. The most local meeting is Sept. 2 from 7-9 p.m. at the Fauquier High School in Warrenton.
A Sept. 3 meeting will be held in Appomattox.
