In 2005 Purnell became the office manager for a local construction company, L. G. Zindel, Inc., where she gained a greater understanding of the homebuilding process. She then decided to change career paths in 2008, but she was faced with the struggle of finding a job that would allow her to continue working in the county. Real estate provided her that option.
In September of this year - Purnell took an online real estate course, finished it in two weeks, and went on to pass the state and national real estate salesperson exams.
She said she enjoys working- as a real estate salesperson at Rappahannock Resources.
“Since the business is slow now, Butch Zindel had some free time to show me the ropes,” said Purnell.
Talking with Purnell, one can tell that her heart is here in Rappahannock County.
We wish her well in her new career.
