The orange growers of California recognized this fact when they invited 40 representative growers from Florida to come to California and study proper marketing methods. They paid the traveling expenses of these 40 growers because they said thaf every time any one ate a poor orange from Florida they didn't want any oranges for a while. An orange was an orange to them, whether it came from Florida or California, and the orange trade as a whole was injured by just so much.
