Farm Machinery V Classes Start Yassar Invites Cumberland Croups Farm Machinery Repair classes at Cumberland. John Randolph and Hamilton schools began Tuesday. Jan. 6. Each will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights weekly until May. Classes are held from 7 to 10 p. in., and are open io all farmers and community residents. There is a small charge 10 provide for care and repair of machinery and shop equipment made available to those attending. E. H. -Bassar, vocational agri culture instructor at Cumber land High School and program supervisor, today urged county farmers to take advantage of the classes, and equipment and tech nical assistance available through them. "The classes are becoming more important, particularly in view of rising casts to farmers and the present price squeeze. Reducing operational costs is of prime im portance in good farm manage ment today," Mr. Vassar said, "and keeping machinery in effi cient operation is one method of reducing costs. Instructors at the three schools are: Claude Reynolds. John Ran dolph; Dale Davis. Hamilton, and Irving Bryant, Cumberland. gently in the interest of the study of home economics as a profes sion for young women.
