A program on safety and health was presented during the Business and Professional Women's Club meeting Thursday in the Recrea tion Center. Mrs. Naimie Webster, health and safety chairman of the club, was in charge of the program. It featured an informative film cn all phases of safety, including "in horn and on the highway.” and a talk by J L Hart. Prince Edward county sanitation officer. Mr. Hai't's talk concerned sani tation needs in the county and, community and measures under way to fill them. Members, during a business session, voted to assist the March of Dimes appeal, and will operate a downtown booth. They also complet d forms, under the direct ion of Mrs. Vir ginia Harper. Civil Defense chair man. on abilities and volunteer efforts each might do if called on in a defense emergency
