Funeral service* for Henry *S.' Carder were held Saturday, No* vember 26, at 2 p.m. from the Geest funeral chapel, Culpeper,. Rev. Paul Thompson of Reynolds Memorial Baptist church and the Rev. Joseph Patterson officiated.
Mr. Carder, 94,. had been, in declining health for some years though he was active until a few weeks before his death at his residence in Woodville. He was a native of Woodville, the son of Richard and Margaret Carder. His wife, formerly Miss Emma Tinsley, died some years ago.
Mr. Carder is survived by two daughters, Mrs, Clarence Hume of Warrenton, ~Tand Mrs. Tutt Hume of Woodville; a son, Richard Ashby Carder_pf, Washington, D. C.{ and eight grandchildren/
